Unpowered bush camping is availble throughout the park, away from the main park area. These larger areas are suitable for caravans, tents and camper trailers.
63 powered caravan and tent sites are situated in the main park including Kookaburra, Eucalyptus and Dollarbird areas. There are four amenity blocks, and BBQs close by. These sites are suitable for caravans, camper trailers and tents.
In the main park there are unpowered sites suitable for most caravans and tents.
There is unpowered camping throughout the main park, suitable for caravans, tents and camper trailers. Sites are not designated and are on a first in first choice arrangement.Sites within the main park area offer ease of access to all services, facilities and ammenities.
The Bush camping areas are remote camping with limited facilities. These provide Bush camping and allow access to the upper reaches of the dam and the Lachlan and Abercrombie Rivers. They are via Oakey Creek Road and include Markham’s, Oakey Creek, Quart Pot and Gertie’s camping areas among others. These areas may require 4WD to access.
